Day 1
Arrival: Accra, Ghana
Akwaaba ! Welcome! Be received by your ground handler and transferred to your hotel. Orientation and welcome dinner. Overnight.
Day 2
½ Day City Tour
Visit Black Star Square, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial, Dubois Center for Pan African Culture, Padmore Library, Art Centre, Presidential Palace.
Day 3
Tour to Aburi Gardens and Wood Carvers Village and Mampong Herbal Centre.
Day 4
Depart to Ashanti Capital (Kumasi)
Visit Bonwire (the Kente Village), Ahwia (the wood carving village), and see Adinkra Cloth made.
Day 5
Ashanti Regional Capital (Kumasi)
This day you will delve into Ashanti history by visiting the Manhyia Palace Museum, the Prempeh II Museum, and Ghana’s military Museum. End up in the central market (the largest in Ghana). It is a great experience to walk through this market.

Enjoy traditional festivals that are happening:
Akwasidae festival
(depending on time of visit)
The Ashanti King comes out to sit in state to receive homage from his subjects. Praise singers and drummers perform to welcome the king to the courtyard.
Akwantukese Festival - New Juaben– It is a period of consecration of black stools, invocation of the blessing of ancestral spirits and show of appreciation to the gods for their guidance. A colourful durbar of chiefs is marked to climax the celebrations.

Day 6
Depart to Elimina
Check into One Africa Health Resort
In route to Elmina visit Assin Manso & Last Bath and the Reverential Garden, located at the river where the enslaved were given their last bath before being marched to Cape Coast and Elmina Castle Dungeons. The mortal remains of a Jamaican, Crystal from Jamaica, West Indies, who dedicated her life to fighting racism and Samuel Carson, an African American naval officer from the U.S.A. were both buried at Assin Manso in August 1998 as a prelude to Ghana’s first Emancipation Day celebration.
Visit Cape Coast Castle Dungeons where enslaved Africans were kept before being transported to the Americas and the Caribbean. Thru the Door of Return Ceremony. Candle light vigil in the Cape Coast Castle Dungeons. Return to One Africa to complete ceremony with cleansing Spiritual bath in the Gulf of Guinea.
Welcome Buffet Dinner at One Africa with Cultural Drum & Dance Group Performance.
Day 7
Cape Coast and El Mina
Visit the Elmina Castle/Dungeons. Walking tour of Elmina and Cape Coast towns.
Day 8
Visit Kakum National Park, cross over the trees on a treetop canopy
At your own leisure partake in a Mud bath, massage and the beauty of the Gulf of Guinea.
Visit Hans Cottage Botel for lunch and feeding the Alligators
Self-Love
At your own pleasure enjoy an African mud bath, massage and meditation..
Enjoy nightlife in Cape Coast by the beach
Day 9
Accra and Night Life Experience
Depart to Accra and check into Coconut Regency Hotel
